Coming 10/25/17 - Flexmls Web: The 24-Hour Hot Sheet Will Retain Previous Criteria


FEATURE SUMMARY 
When you run the 24-Hour Hot Sheet, it will remember and pre-populate the same criteria from the last time you ran it. Many agents often use the same criteria each time they run the hot sheet, so this change will save time by eliminating the need to re-enter the same search filters every time you run it. 

WHEN WILL IT CHANGE 
This change will be released on October 25th.

WHO WILL BE AFFECTED 
This change will affect all users whenever they use the 24-Hour Hot Sheet page in Flexmls Web. 

WHAT WILL CHANGE 
The 24-Hour Hot Sheet will remember the criteria you used the last time you ran it. From the Menu, select Hot Sheet. On the 24-Hour Hot Sheet, use the available filters to focus your hot sheet on specific cities, property types and more (as available in your MLS). 



Click the Run 24-Hour Hot Sheet button to view the listings. 
 

After viewing the listings, the next time you run the 24-Hour Hot Sheet, the criteria you used previously will be pre-populated so you can click Run 24-Hour Hot Sheet to run it using the previous filters. 


If you want to change the criteria, click in a selection box and make specific changes or click the Reset Filters link to clear all of the filters.



WHY ARE WE MAKING THIS CHANGE 
Currently, the 24-Hour Hot Sheet does not retain any of the filters that you apply. So if you make specific selections and run the hot sheet, the next time you'd like to run it using the same selections, you must re-enter the same information. Most users enter the same criteria each time they run the hot sheet, which can make the current process repetitive and time-consuming. This change will make running the 24-Hour Hot Sheet easier and more efficient. 

If you do not want to use the same criteria that you used previously, the Reset Filters option provides fast, one-click access to clear all of the hot sheet filters.

Effective October 23rd, all FLEXMLS TECHNICAL SUPPORT calls for the MLS System will be directed to FBS's Flexmls Support staff in Fargo, ND.  FBS is the creator of your MLS system software, Flexmls, and the source of any and all technical aspects of the programs.

Data Share Agreements Allow You to Expand Your MLS Search

When performing a search in Flexmls, remember that you can also search listings for the Daytona Beach Association of Realtors® and Ocala MLS, in addition to the Northeast Florida MLS. Our data share agreements with these organizations provide a mutually beneficial service to both our members and theirs.  Having this capability offers more exposure for your sellers and more options for your buyers.

To search these additional listings, use the Quick Search feature and click on Use at the bottom of the screen.
Next, click on Northeast Florida MLS, Inc. to get the drop-down menu and select the MLS of choice.

Coming Soon Guidelines Reminder


On August 1st we added a new status to the MLS system entitled "Coming Soon. 

Below are some of the guidelines that we would like to emphasize to ensure everyone is in compliance with our policies:
  • You must have a signed Listing Agreement AND a signed Coming Soon Listing Addendum.  The listing, as usual, must be entered within 24 hours of obtaining signature.
    • NOTE: The existing Seller Waiver Addendum is now to be used exclusively for those listings where the seller does not want their property entered into the NEFMLS for the full term of the Listing Agreement. 
  • You will be able to list a property under this Coming Soon Listing status for a maximum of 14 days before it becomes active in the NEFMLS.  Once the listing becomes Active, it cannot be reverted back to a Coming Soon status. 
  • Listing Brokers will be restricted from re-listing the same property as a “Coming Soon” listing until 45 days past the Expiration Date. 
  • The Listing cannot be shown or sold by any party, including the listing brokerage, until after the Coming Soon Listing status has been changed to Active. If you want to show the listing to a prospective buyer, you must change the status.
  • The option to add a listing as Coming Soon can be found on the Main fields Tab in the field titled Status.  Click the drop-down to select the appropriate status.  If you select Coming Soon you must enter a Start Showing Date (double check your entry on the date to be sure it is accurate).
