A Message from Kathy Karr-Garcia, RealtyWEB.Net MLS 2018 President

Greetings Dear Members,

This year, the Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service, Inc. (operating as RealtyWEB.Net MLS) is celebrating 25 years of service and I am honored to serve as your 2018 NEFMLS president at such an exciting time!  Throughout the years, we have been fortunate to have an exemplary team of people involved as participants on our Board of Directors, volunteers of various committees and of course, our dedicated NEFMLS leadership and staff, all guiding our organization to make it one of the best MLSs in the country.

During 2016 and 2017, we have established direct data share agreements with three surrounding MLS organizations including those owned by Ocala/Marion County Association, Daytona Beach Area Association and Flagler County Association of REALTORS®. These data shares allow our members to provide more value to their customers by giving their buyers more options and their sellers more exposure. We intend to continue reaching out beyond artificial boundaries to neighboring Association owned MLSs to ensure our members and theirs have comprehensive listing data at their fingertips to help them do what they do best.

This year we will focus on expanding our outreach to potential new members by raising awareness, engaging prospects and providing education on all of the services that RealtyWEB.Net offers. As always, we will be at the forefront of forming partnerships with outstanding service providers giving our members innovative tools and making resources available to help each of you excel in your business.

I look forward to exceeding our boundaries, being a part of bringing our organization to new heights in 2018 and continuing the goal of making RealtyWEB.Net The MLS with More and Your MLS of Choice.

Coming on 2/15/2018 to Flexmls Web: Add Videos & Virtual Tours to Incomplete Listings

A frequently requested feature, the ability to add links to Videos and Virtual Tours to Incomplete listings, is here. With this improvement, you’ll be able to add all photos, documents, videos, and virtual tours to a listing before it goes live, so once you add it to the MLS, all of the information will already be available.

WHEN WILL IT CHANGE
This feature will be available on February 15, 2018.

WHO WILL BE AFFECTED
All users who add listings, or who can currently add photos and documents to incomplete listings, will be able to add Videos and Virtual Tours as well.

WHAT WILL CHANGE
When you edit an incomplete listing, the Multimedia section will include links to add Videos and Virtual Tours (just like the Change Listing screen).

Click Videos or Virtual Tours to add the links for Videos or Virtual tours. The process for adding the links remains the same as the process currently on the Change Listing screen. Make sure to save the changes before leaving the screen.

Once you add the listing to the MLS, the Videos and Virtual Tours will already be on the listing.

WHY ARE WE MAKING THESE CHANGES
With this change, all Multimedia elements (photos, documents, videos, and virtual tours) can be added to a listing before it goes live. This makes the workflow for adding listings more efficient–you can add photos, documents, videos, and virtual tours to an incomplete listing, so once you add the listing to the MLS, all of those elements will be available immediately.
