Performing a Map Search in Flexmls

With the onset of Data Sharing in multiple geographic areas, it may be easiest to use a map search and simply DRAW your search area.    To access Map Search, click Menu and type ‘’map’’ 
 

The system will default to a Residential search/template.  To change searches, click the chevron to the right of the Category displayed.  To select or change MLS, use the MLS selection box.

EXAMPLE: Our contact would like to purchase a Residential waterfront home in Fleming Island, $350,000-$450,000, 4+ Beds, 2+ Baths and a Separate Dining Room.

Move map to the desired area then select the needed shape.  In this example, we will draw a polygon. 

To create an irregular-shaped search area, click on the polygon in your Search Areas box, then click on the map to define the first corner of your polygon. Click to define the remaining search boundaries. Your polygon can have as many points as needed to define the search area.      

NOTE:  Visualizing and using a connect-the-dots mindset simplifies the effort.

Double-click to complete your polygon. Please note all the search criteria on the left side of the screen.
